Flange bolts are machine threaded for use with a nut. They have a flange under the head that acts like a built in flat washer.
A hexagonal head for use with a wrench. (Note: Shorter lengths are found under full thread.) These bolts are sometimes called Frame bolts. Meets DIN 6921 (1983).
A low carbon steel for general use. A tempered medium carbon steel. Class 10.9 is stronger than class 8.8. It is commonly found in high strength automotive applications. Class 10.9 is similar to grade 8. Unplated finish.
