Shipping Information

Displaying the shipping cost for your order

1. Add the items you wish to purchase in your shopping cart (see How to add items to your cart on our How to Shop page).
2. When you are finished click on the ‘Calculate Shipping ’ located next to the cart display in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3. This will bring up the shipping calculator window which will prompt you for the information we need to calculate your orders shipping cost. When you have entered the information click calculate to display the shipping cost.

How shipping cost is determined

Bolt Depot charges UPS shipping rates plus a $1.50 handling charge. Ground shipping within the continental U.S. is never more than $100. Our system calculates the weight of your order and uses your zip code to get a shipping cost directly from UPS. UPS charges in 1lb increments with a minimum of 1lb.

Order processing time

• Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, and 3 Day Select orders, with the exclusion of products specifically marked as “not always in stock”, are guaranteed to be shipped the same day if placed before 2:00pm (Eastern Time)
  (Note: Bolt Depot ships Mon. - Fri.).
• Ground orders are also usually shipped the same day if placed before 2:00pm (EST).
• A few products are specifically marked in our catalog as "not always in stock". Orders with these items will be shipped within 5 business days but are not guaranteed to ship the same day, regardless of the shipping method chosen.

Out of stock items

• Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, and 3 Day Select - Items are shipped from another warehouse if out of stock at our main warehouse (with the exclusion of products specifically marked as “not always in stock”). In the event that all warehouses are out of stock you will be notified promptly by telephone or e-mail.
• Ground items can usually be obtained in 1-3 business days if out of stock. In the event that this is not possible you will be notified promptly by telephone or e-mail.
• Orders with items that are specifically marked as “not always in stock” will be shipped within 5 business days but are not guaranteed to ship the same day, regardless of the shipping method chosen.

Transit times

• Note: Bolt Depot ships Mon. - Fri.
• Next Day Air orders will arrive the next business day (Time of delivery depends upon location). See UPS for more information.
• 2 Day orders will arrive on the second business day (by 6:00pm). See UPS for more information.
• 3 Day Select orders will arrive on the third business day (by 6:00pm). See UPS for more information.
• Ground orders the map below shows estimated transit times, but time in transit will vary.

Days UPS considers business days

UPS considers business days to be Monday through Friday except the following holidays:

• New Year’s Eve*
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Day after Thanksgiving Day*
• Christmas Day

*Delivery of Air Packages only.

Bolt Depot offers the following shipping options:

• UPS Next Day Air (Saturday Delivery Available)
• UPS 2 Day
• UPS 3 Day Select
• UPS Ground
• Ground (only available on orders within the continental U.S. where UPS ground would be over $100, may be sent UPS, common carrier, or both)

Other carriers

We do not currently ship using any other carriers.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes

We do not currently ship to PO Boxes.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii

UPS does not offer 3 Day Select service to Alaska and Hawaii.

Shipping to APO’s

We can sometimes ship to military APO’s please call us toll free at 1-866-337-9888 or 1-781-337-9888 to inquire.

International shipping

We do not currently ship outside the U.S.
