Metric standard bolts

Hex bolts, also known as hex cap screws or machine bolts. Available in steel grade 8.8, steel grade 10.9 and stainless steel A-2 (18-8). Fully or partially threaded.

Material	Description
Stainless A-2 (18-8)	A-2 stainless is equivalent to 18-8 stainless. It is an alloy with high corrosion resistance and is the material of choice for most exterior and marine applications.
Steel grade 8.8	Made from medium carbon steel and zinc plated. Best for general hardware use where high strength is not required. Standard metric thread pitches.
Steel grade 8.8 fine thread	Made from medium carbon steel and zinc plated. Best for general hardware use where high strength is not required. Fine and super fine metric thread pitches.
Steel grade 10.9	Made from alloy steel quenched, tempered, and zinc plated. Best for automotive use and other areas where high strength is needed.
Grade 8.8 chrome	A grade 8.8 fastener with a bright mirror-like finish providing sharp looks for a variety of applications.
