Website Offers an Easy Way to Buy Nuts and Bolts
Nuts, bolts and screws hold our
world together, but those who use them often have trouble finding
the right fasteners in local stores. BoltDepot.com offers all
the nuts and bolts found in home improvement stores with greater
variety and a new way of selling online that’s just like
being in the store itself.
Jordan Cazeault, president of
Bolt Depot, said about the launch:
"The online catalog is the child of over 30 years of retail
experience selling nuts and bolts. Experience has shown that
people aren’t always aware of the names of fasteners,
so images are used to assist in identification." Cazeault
continued. "Visitors can easily locate specific fasteners
by the individual piece, full box or any combination, selecting
exact quantities to avoid waste. Charts and tables are provided
to help determine size and low cost thread gauges are available
on the website. Telephone assistance is available toll free."
Features such as automatic lower
re-pricing of pieces in excess of one box, a shipping calculator,
and individual computer labeling for easy identification, are
some of the recent enhancements. A full range of assortments
is planned with an easy re-order numbering system. The website
receives continuous improvements from its full time web master,
based mostly on input from visitors.
Bolt Depot ships UPS exclusively,
with the exception of military personnel, but will send a single
screw, thanks to a no minimum order policy. Most orders are
picked, labeled and shipped the same day from North Weymouth
Ma., but Bolt Depot also maintains alliances with several large
importers who ship directly to it’s customers in order
to accommodate large quantities or urgent situations.
