A very high strength heat treated alloy steel. Black oil (plain) finish.
A tempered medium carbon steel. Grade 8 is stronger than grade 5, and is commonly found in high strength automotive applications. Chrome plated and polished for a mirror like finish.
Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance.
